Privacy Policy

1. Overview

GamefowlTrack ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Display name and email address (required for registration)
  • Phone number (only when you submit a plan change request — optional)
  • Password (stored as a secure hash — never in plain text)

Farm Data

  • Farm name and location
  • Bird records: band numbers, bloodlines, stages, statuses, birth dates
  • Pairings, hatch records, and pedigree data
  • Fight records, conditioning logs, vaccination records
  • Farm expenses and event records
  • Bird photos you choose to upload

Usage Data

  • App usage timestamps and session data (for authentication and security)
  • Device type and OS version (for technical support purposes only)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the GamefowlTrack service
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Sync your farm data between your mobile app and web dashboard
  • Process subscription upgrade or downgrade requests
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service-related updates
  • Generate analytics about your own farm (visible only to you)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or farm data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase-managed servers with the following protections:

  • Row-Level Security (RLS) — your data is only accessible by your account
  • All data transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
  • Passwords stored as bcrypt hashes via Supabase Auth
  • Regular automated database backups

Bird photos are stored in Supabase Storage. Photos attached to public bird profiles or shared lookup pages may be visible to anyone with the profile link.

The installed PWA stores cached app data on your device for offline viewing and can queue selected field logs until you reconnect.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. All deletions in the app are "soft deletes" — records are marked as deleted and hidden from view but retained for 90 days to allow recovery in case of accidental deletion. After 90 days, soft-deleted records may be permanently removed.

If you request account deletion, all your personal data and farm records will be permanently and irreversibly deleted within 30 days of your request.

6. Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act

Under RA 10173, you have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of your personal data we hold
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data and account
  • Data portability — Export your farm data via CSV export at any time
  • Object — Object to processing of your data for purposes you did not consent to

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate GamefowlTrack:

  • Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage
  • Vercel — Web app hosting and deployment

These services may process your data as necessary to deliver their services. They operate under their own privacy policies and are bound by contractual data processing agreements with us.

8. Cookies

The web app uses cookies solely for authentication session management (Supabase Auth session tokens). We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
